Tiny Toes

for our earliest movers (18 months-3 yrs)  and a caregiver.  Following the natural rhythms of toddler energy, we alternate between high exertion and the more restful activities that the nervous system needs.  Using various physioballs we explore early movement patterns and reflexes through dynamic play.  Movement interactions between child and caregiver builds comfort, safety and enjoyment.

Danse I

encourages children to use their creativity to explore their individual movement expression. Dancing in a group helps each child define their personal body space and create boundaries to play safely and thoughtfully.

Danse II

builds on the skills explored in Kid's I and offers more opportunities to work in partnership with other dancers, to learn about the dynamics of solo, duets, trios, etc.   Together we begin the process of building dance sequences and scores.

Back In the Body

is an adult class that respects the needs of older dances.  I offer a sustained, luxurious, warm-up which allows dancers to consciously settle into the presence of their bodies.  This class promotes expressivity, efficiency, integration and communication through body awareness. We use Physioballs for a playful warm-up, layer in dynamic spatial connections and intelligent dance-making to build deeper embodiment, creative expression and human connection.

Clay & Bodies

is a unique interplay between movement explorations and clay sculpting.  Toddlers to teens engage in dynamic qualities of movement to imprint into the clay.  Both clay and movement share textures and shapes creating a dance of plasticity.
